AEIC 2025 Fall Meeting
Date: October 15-16 at USDA South Building
(Working Groups will meet the afternoon of October 14 in Whitten Building)

Meeting Venue for Oct 15-16: USDA South Building, 1400 Independence Ave. SW, Washington, DC. (close to Washington Monument). Meeting attendees will need a valid driver license (with Real ID) or a valid US passport to enter the building. If an attendee is a foreign national, the USDA will need to send them through a vetting process. Please let AEIC Board members know and we will direct you to whom handles the vetting.
Airports: Reagan National Airport (closest to meeting venue) or Dulles International Airport (24 miles to downtown Washington, DC)
Meeting Venue for Oct 14 for Working Groups:. The Working Groups will meet in the Press Room in the Whitten Building.The Whitten Building is located directly across from the USDA South Building, between 12th and 14th Streets, and Independence Avenue and Jefferson Drive. All information session participants are required to enter through the Jefferson Drive entrance to the building. This is the entrance facing the National mall. Please have a drivers license or government issued photo ID to present to building security. The nearest Metro station is “Smithsonian,” which is located at the Northeast corner of the South Building. Room 107-A is located on the first floor of the Whitten Building, directly adjacent to the large patio in the center of the building

- Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf – 0.5 miles walking distance
- Holiday Inn Washington Capitol - National Mall by IHG – 0.6 miles walking distance

Tour: Tour of USDA museum
